A brand new show for us!

We've been invited to a brand new show this year with Krista Reid of Velocity Designs. She's been silversmithing for 25 years, specializing in lost-wax cast sterling silver charms. Andrea and I visited her studio a few weeks ago and were blown away by the steps (and really cool equipment) involved. Her by-invitation show looks really wonderful and will be a chance for us to meet new artisans in printing, fibre arts, and ceramics as well.
I'm teaching a class on Saturday, too! It'll be a busy and enjoyable weekend for us.

An article about our work

A few weeks ago I go an email from a photographer at the Uniter (the U of W weekly paper), asking whether I could send him some high-res photos for the article.

"Sure!" I answered. "Uh, but... what article?"

The next day I got a phone call from Holly Rose at the Uniter for an interview. I was really nervous. She asked what our studio was like and my answer was a little weird, I think. But it did capture the essence of our work environment. Read for yourself!
